Cassy and Peter celebrated their nuptials on a warm, clear Thanksgiving weekend on Cassy's parents country property. I am smitten with all the heartfelt details Cassy and her mom, Kristin, both interior designers, included to make this wedding so creative and unique. I used deer antlers (found on the property) as part of the lush table centrepieces and constructed an amazing marquee with antlers, on the wall behind the sweetheart table. A vintage VW beetle, a mobile coffee truck and dinner from a food truck served on custom, monogrammed wooden trays topped out some of the details for this beautiful, sweet family wedding. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Reid! Thank you to Allison Clark Photography for sharing her lovely work with me! A sweet wedding full of whimsical, vintage details. Holly and Jim's beautiful wedding was set on the lush grounds of The Millcroft Inn nestled in Caledon not too far from the studio. And what a pleasure to work on this charming wedding with some dear, local vendor friends, always lovely to see some familiar faces in the prettiest of settings. Congrats Julia and James! xo Huge thanks to A Brit and a Blonde for sharing all the gorgeousness they captured! I am absolutely gushing over these gorgeous snaps by Hugh Whitaker of Melissa and Jaime's classically styled wedding at Cambium Farms. Melissa is the owner and principal designer at Utility House, a boutique event rental and stationary company, whose work is the perfect combination of timeless elegance mixed with a vintage, industrial vibe. Antique, silver trophies overflowed with ivory blooms and garlands of foliage ran the lengths of each guest table. I'm a bit of a sucker for anything old, weathered and tarnished so every detail of this wedding was absolute perfection! Photography: Hugh Whitaker Stationary and Rentals: Utility House Catering: Cabral Catering Venue: Cambium Farms Sharing some beautiful shots of Kayla and Perry's bouquets and boutonnieres perfectly captured by Lindsay Nemeth Photography. We love this fresh colour palette of blush, coral and green! This wedding was full of sweet, heartfelt details celebrating love, family and honouring heritage. The farmhouse at Cambium Farms was bustling with activity when I arrived to deliver the bouquets. Amongst the giddy excitement of bridal party members getting hair and makeup done, were close family and friends busily crafting the prettiest dreamcatchers that were set to decorate the barn. To celebrate Celina's First Nations heritage, we included symbolic loon and turkey feathers in her bouquet and wrapped it's handle with a braid of fragrant sweetgrass. A family processional preceded the bride and her father; each of the ladies carried a pretty posy and the men wore buttonholes of greenery and berries. Celina and Mike's siblings followed, carrying a simple birch Chuppah, an imporatant tradition in Mike's Jewish background, trimmed with trails of ribbon, cedar, sweetgrass and feathers. Inside the barn, vintage milk glass compotes filled with coral charm peonies, feathery astilbe and lush garden roses adorned the guest tables, each highlighted by the cutest pair of handpainted antlers. A huge thank you to Cynthia Martyn for dreaming up all the pretty details and Michelle from Mango Studios for the capturing all the beauty. Have a look at this gorgeous, black tie wedding celebrated on a private estate in Caledon this summer. We dressed hanging chandeliers with trails of eucalyptus and included tulips (in August!!!) in Jeanine's bouquet to celebrate her Dutch heritage.
